  The poem is trying to convey the ills, sufferings and traumatic experience kids who are orphans go through. CRYING STREAMS He walked towards the rock hills The atmosphere seemed to be at a stand-still The sun smiled at him; And the green leaves on the tree, Were waving him farewell. He stared at the herds of lamb and smiled Alas! Those creatures could bring joy to his sad-stricken soul.
